Situated in the Herefordshire hamlet of Carey in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, House Martins is a delightful, mellow stone house. The property can accommodate up to 6 people and has three bedrooms : a king-size double with en-suite bathroom, a super king-size double and a twin bedroom, as well as a ground floor family shower room. There is also a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable sitting room with an open fire and dining area and a first floor basin and WC. There are front and rear gardens with a terrace area and garden furniture. Two well behaved dogs are welcome at the cottage. There is ample off road parking.
With the historic cathedral town of Hereford, and the riverside town of Ross-on-Wye both within easy reach of this Carey cottage, and with the beautiful landscape of the Wye Valley all around, this property is in a wonderful area for a family holiday.

The cottage has efficient gas central heating, open fire in sitting room. Electric oven, halogen hob, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player, radio/CD player, books/games/DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire inc. in rent, additional fuel for open fire available to purchase from owner. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent.
Ample off road parking. Cycle storage. Front and rear garden with terrace area and garden furniture. Two well behaved dogs are welcome.

The hamlet of carey can be found between Ross-on-Wye and Hereford, situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Wye Valley, Forest of Dean and the Golden Valley provide excellent walking, cycling and bird watching opportunities, while the River Wye is popular for canoeing. Nearby Hereford boasts its 11th century cathedral with its famous Mappa Mundi map and its Chained Library. There is lots in this area.
