Self catering holiday cottages in Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire, England
DURSLEY & WOOTON-UNDER-EDGE
Once a cloth-making centre, Dursley is the most industrial of towns on The Cotswold Way. Although Dursley is of limited interest itself there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. In the town St James’ Church is Perpendicular, and has a vaulted porch and chapel of 1450. The market building of 1729 has the old courthouse above. There are many old houses to enjoy, particularly those close to the church. Wooton-Under-Edge is home to a superb auction house, with sales on once a month.
