TETBURY - Historic Market Town One of the most beautiful Cotswold towns - built around its 17th century Market Hall – Tetbury enjoys a worldwide reputation as an antiques and interior design centre. It was built by wool merchants and has continued to thrive on these strong economic foundations. Berkeley House fronts onto The Chipping, a pleasant tree-lined square with some of Tetbury’s finest 18^th and 19^th century buildings. Next to The Chipping is the late 18^th century malt house, which operated as such until after the First World War.
