A country cottage in a tranquil area of gently rolling countryside close to the Golden Valley. Located in the hamlet of Swells Hill, only 12 miles from Gloucester, Glen View Cottage is a semi-detached, stone built cottage set in a rural location.
The property can sleep up to 6 people and has three bedrooms consisting of one king-size double with en-suite shower, one twin, and one room with children’s bunks, as well as a family bathroom. The cottage also includes a well-equipped fitted kitchen with a breakfast area, and a sitting room incorporating a dining area and furnished with an inviting woodburning stove. An enclosed lawned garden features a patio area supplied with furniture and a barbeque. There is off road parking for 3 cars.
The famous delights of the Cotswolds await exploration, and the towns of Gloucester, Cirencester and Cheltenham Spa are a short drive away making Glen View Cottage a lovely holiday home for exploring the many delights of this part of England.
This self catering cottage has full oil central heating throughout with additional heating from a woodburning stove in the sitting room and underfloor heating in bathroom and en-suite shower room.
The cottage kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, washing machine, dishwasher. TV with basic Sky and children’s channels, DVD, stereo/CD, small library of books, games and DVDs, WiFi. All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Cot and highchair available on request.
There is private parking space for two cars. Bike storage available. Enclosed lawned garden with patio, furniture and barbecue. One well behaved dog welcome, outdoor kennel available. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile.
