Our farm is not only part of the Natural England stewardship scheme, but also under FWAG management to conserve the ancient woodland and unspoilt wild-life habitat which includes Glow-worms!  

  • Feel free to walk the private paths and use our favourite remote picnic spot overlooking the Severn Vale.

  • Canoeing, cycling, horse riding and golf are all available locally.
  • The Stables is mid-way between Newnham on Severn, Ross on Wye and Monmouth and very close to Symonds Yat and the Lower Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the heart of The Forest of Dean with its miles of cycle tracks and footpaths.
  • Hereford, Gloucester,  Worcester, Ludlow, Hay on Wye, Black Mountains and Malvern Hills are all within easy reach.

Annual Events: Forest Food Festival a weekend in October each year.
