This self catering cottage has full oil central heating with additional heating from a woodburning stove in the sitting room. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, 2nd refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher. TV with Freeview, DVD, stereo/CD. Library of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available on request. There is private parking space for 5 cars. Large enclosed front and rear gardens with furniture and barbecue, rear garden leads to fully fenced pool. Climbing frame. Fully fenced, shared outdoor swimming pool with loungers (pool open 8:30am - 9pm, 1st May - 30th Sept each year). Pool hut with bar and fridge. Shared tennis court (open 7:30am - 9pm daily) - please bring own balls and rackets. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 1 mile. Please Note: Pool use included in the rent. Pool may be heated at cost if desired; please contact the owner at least two days beforehand. Cost is about £25 per day; a 1-2 day pre-heat may be needed depending on the weather. If pool is requested by neighbouring cottage during your stay, the cost will be split. If both cottages wish to use the pool, the time slots will be split, and both cottages will get both shared and private use. The Cotswolds is a scenic area which crosses across mainly Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and parts of Wiltshire.  The Cotswolds has lots to offer visitors from walking paths to country houses, gardens and farm parks.  Also in the Cotswolds are picture perfect villages and towns which are great places to stop off for a cup of tea or a bite to eat.

Newent is a market town within the Vale of Leadon and boasts an Old Market Hall, pubs, tea rooms, restaurants and shops.
