The Orangery - Frampton on Severn,

Originally built as a garden house in the grounds of Frampton Court, this Grade II listed building was extensively re-decorated in 2006. The elegant dining room looks out onto a romantic woodland garden, whilst the drawing room, with its open fire and fabulous new wall painting, provides a blissful room in which to relax. A sumptuous new bathroom includes a luxury double-ended roll-top bath set against the fine 18th century masonry. A very unusual, original, cantilevered stone spiral staircase leads from the hall to two octagonal bedrooms (one double - with ensuite shower room - and one twin) on the first floor. These have views across the parkland and also the village green, and beyond the river Severn to the Forest of Dean.

The well-equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble-drier, fridge, freezer and microwave. Completing the accommodation on the ground floor are two further bedrooms (one twin and one double - with ensuite bathroom). Outside there is a beautiful garden in which to relax, complete with a Weber barbecue.

The Orangery is within easy reach of Cheltenham, Gloucester, the Cotswolds, Stratford upon Avon, Bristol, Bath and South Wales. There are many delightful villages to explore nearby, and walks across the countryside of the Severn Vale. Short breaks are available from either Friday or Monday, and week-long bookings can also run from either Friday or Monday. If you are celebrating a special occasion you might like to book some of your guests into our Bed and Breakfast at Frampton Court where our housekeeper can provide luncheon or supper by request.
