Jaywick Sands is a five minute drive from Clacton on Sea.  Clacton is one of Tendring Peninsula’s seaside resorts offering everything needed for an enjoyable traditional seaside holiday.  There are regular buses from Jaywick to the centre of Clacton's resort area.

Jaywick Sands is convenient for airports, the nearest being Stansted, and Harwich International port.  Jaywick is a 10 minute drive from Clacton Station which on a direct train line from London Liverpool street station.  Clacton is the terminal stop.

The cottage has a small double bedroom, a lounge with french doors (also the front door), galley kitchen and a surprisingly spacious bathroom. 

Pets will love it.  We are happy to accept up to 2 dogs, although it may be a bit of a squeeze if they're large! One child accompanied by an adult or one baby (cot not provided) with up to two adults are welcome.  Please note however that the roads are also the pavements and are not condusive to buggies.

Short breaks welcome Friday to Monday (3 nights) or Monday to Friday (4 nights).

A village to the west of Clacton on Sea and five minutes drive from the resort centre. It is not a resort area itself, rather providing a base from which to explore or for those seeking a relaxing holiday with fresh air and award-winning non-commercial beaches. The beach nearest Beach Cottage allows dog owners and their dogs unrestricted access to the beach.
