Dedham is a beautiful quaint village in the heart of Constable Country. This lovely cosy Grade 2 listed former weavers’cottage is located centrally within Dedham, conveniently located for the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants nearby. This lovely cottage sleeps up to 5 in 2 bedrooms and dates back to the 16th Century. The cottage has been renovated and is now a comfortable and relaxing holiday cottage. This lovely cottage is great for short breaks or longer holidays, there is lots to see and do around the Dedham Vale, with wonderful walks in the countryside, and nearby historic towns & villages of Sudbury, Colchester and Lavenham to visit. For families with young children there are good beaches nearby, Colchester zoo and Jimmy's Farm. On a fine day it's possible to take a rowing boat trip from Dedham down the River Stour to Flatford Mill or you can walk along the footpaths that criss-cross this beautiful landscape, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Dedham Vale on the Suffolk-Essex border is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with hedged water meadows and riverbank willows. The beauty of this area was made famous by the paintings of John Constable. Dedham Vale is essentially still a farming area and Dedham is known as the jewel in the Vale’s crown. Dedham is located on the banks of the River Stour and has a broad High Street with a fine mix of stunning Georgian fronted mansions and earlier buildings - including St Mary’s Church which dates back to the 15th century.
The accommodation comprises: Ground Floor: Entrance lobby,Large Sitting Room with TV & DVD and open gas fire. Kitchen/Dining Room with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Landing, Twin Bedroom with additional single bed, Double Bedroom, Family Bathroom with bath.
