The ground floor comprises two reception rooms, one is a TV room the other a reading room, leading into the kitchen with a dining room leading into the garden room where French windows open onto a well maintained country cottage garden.

There are two staircases leading to each bedroom which access a further work room and bathroom.

Situated on the Suffolk-Essex border, Dedham Vale has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty since 1970. With its hedged water meadows, copses and riverbank willows, the landscape is a lovely example of English countryside. Its pastoral scenes are world famous as the settings used by the artist John Constable, along with others such as Sir Alfred Munnings.
