Stable Cottage is a traditional stone, 3 double bed cottage, set in spacious stable yard. Parking is adjacent to the cottage. The accommodation comprises of a hallway, 3 double bedrooms, bathroom and additional WC on the ground floor. Upstairs is the open plan living space, with a lounge area and a kitchen and dining area. The fully equipped kitchen has a Rayburn cooker.
Stable Cottage has oil-fired underfloor heating. Facilities include a flat screen TV, hi-fi and iPod station. Guests can also have fresh vegetables grown in our organic kitchen garden delivered to the door.
The use of stables for riders who may wish to bring their own horses and take advantage of the wonderful riding and bridleways, can be arranged.

Whatever your leisure interests there are lots of things to do and see in this beautiful part of West Dorset. If you enjoy the outdoors there are plenty of picturesque walks and the area offers wonderful cycling routes. You will find welcoming village pubs, cafes and restaurants to recharge your batteries before setting off again. There are also plenty of other outdoor pursuits, such as golf, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting and karting, to name a few. Dotted along the Jurassic Coast are bustling resorts like Lyme Regis, West Bay and Weymouth, all offering a wide range of seaside holiday activities. Whilst inland towns such as Dorchester, Sherborne and Bridport, offer a mixture of history, culture and charm. This is Thomas Hardy country - an area of spectacular scenery containing numerous historic sites and places of interest. If the sun isn't shining, there are a variety of fascinating museums and exhibitions to visit providing top quality indoor entertainment. West Dorset is home to a vibrant arts scene meaning art lovers have plenty to see - whether you visit an artists open studio event, one of the many diverse art galleries, or outstanding art centres. Foodies are well catered for and have plenty of choice � from award-winning pubs, caf�s and restaurants, through to Farmers' Markets selling the best of local produce.
