Countisbury Lodge is a newly renovated guest house with parking, and amazing views high above Lynmouth, but only a short walk to the amenities. This is an excellent place to explore Exmoor National Park, and to walk the North Devon and Somerset coast path. We have 2 recently renovated self catering units, a 2 bed cottage and 1 bed self contained apartment.  Both self catering properties have good sea views from some rooms.

Countisbury Lodge - Lynmouth,

The cottage, adjoining the main house, has been renovated to a high standard. The accommodation upstairs provides a double bedroom with amazing views, a smaller twin bedded room and a separate bathroom with large p-shaped bath and shower combined. Downstairs is a lounge/ dinig room with freeview TV/DVD. The kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. There is garden furniture and BBQ outside. The tariff includes heating and linen (duvets, sheets, towels, tea-towels, washing up liquid etc).
A recently modernised self contained apartment  includes a double bedroom with ensuite, and lounge/kitchen with sea views. There are French doors from the bedroom to the outside, with ramped access to the car park. Outside seating in the top garden provide an excellent viewpoint over Lynmouth harbour and out to sea. The tariff includes heating and linen (duvets, sheets, towels, tea-towels, washing up liquid etc).

Recommended Places to Visit: National Trust properies at Dunster Castle and Arlington 30 min drive, Knighthayes Tiverton 1 hr. RHS Rosemoor Gardens Gt.Torrington 50min drive. Lundy Island is a day boat trip from Ilfracoombe or Bideford. Only advised when weather is good. West Somerset Steam Railway runs from Minehead (30 min drive) to Bishops Lydeard. Lynmouth is village within the Exmoor National Park in Devon. Enjoy moorland walks and wildlife watching. Lynmouth and Lynton are linked by a cliff railway. Visit Lynton for cafes, shops and tearooms. The Valley of Rocks is an easy drive away with an array of wildlife.
