The cottage is heated using oil fired central heating. Kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, colour TV, DVD, stereo etc. All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Lawned garden with furniture. Patio. One well behaved dog is most welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops, Post Office, pubs and restaurants 3 miles. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Set in the upper Tamar Valley, the village of Lifton is located close to Launceston and the A30 road to Cornwall. This pretty, well-supplied settlement - situated along the old London to Penzance road - is home to a village shop and post office, an excellent pub and three top quality restaurants. At the far end of the village is an award winning farm shop and pick-your-own complex which offers a good bakery and on-site restaurant – an ideal way to sample local fare. This lovely little settlement is well placed for visiting anywhere in the South West. Dartmoor is only 30 minutes away by car, as is Bodmin Moor while the main beaches and Cornish holiday attractions can be reached in under 45 minutes.
