Six comfortable cottages (sleeping 2 - 6) with gardens and views available in July. All set in a tranquil wildlife valley of 20 acres with ponds and woodland for guests' use. King-size beds and woodburners for your comfort. Pets are welcome here and in the local pubs and on beaches. Close to Slapton Ley Wildlife Reserve and Slapton historic village. Great walking nearby - close to beautiful beaches of South Devon and the South West Coast Path. We offer our guests temporary Membership to Dartmouth Golf and Country Club with two golf courses, spa, and gym facilities. Free Wifi in all cottages.

Come and relax in our pretty stone holiday cottages set in a tranquil South Devon valley. Each cottage has its own private garden and there is a nature trail with ponds and woods for guests to enjoy. Stunning beaches, great coastal walks, historic Slapton village, and the seaside towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth are all within easy reach.

Our 4-star self-catering cottages are comfortably furnished with full heating, some have woodburners and spa baths, and each has its own private garden and views of rolling Devon countryside. You can enjoy our nature trail in over twenty acres of private open space with ponds, woodland and meadows, or a little bird and wildlife-watching from your garden.

You can leave the car behind and take the 50-minute green lane walk to historic Slapton village, with its two excellent dog-friendly pubs, and Slapton Ley Nature Reserve where there is birdwatching and nature safaris; and just 3 miles from here the South West Coast Path takes in the stunning coastal scenery of Start Bay from Dartmouth to Start Point.

Stunning South West Coast Path: East Prawle (great birdwatching opportunities), Bantham, Bigbury and Hope Cove (sandy beaches), Thurlestone for rockpooling and canoeing. Start Point Lighthouse - tours and wonderful walks with seal spotting. Paignton Zoo, Dartmoor Zoological Park, Pennywell Farm and National Marine Aquarium, all within 1 hour from here.

Travel: Totnes Railway Staion and Exeter International Airport

Good places to visit: Plymouth Barbican, Hoe and National Marine Aquarium. Dartmouth with park and ride and boat trips along the River Dart. Eden Project, 1 hour 45 minute drive from here. Salcombe with boat trips to Kingsbridge, sailing and boat hire, visit Mill Bay sandy beaches and walks to Gara Rock. National Trust properties at Greenway on the River Dart and Coleton Fishacre at Kingswear.

Annual Events: South Devon Walking Festival in October. Dartmouth Regatta in August. Salcombe Regatta in August.
