Beams, exposed stonework and wood burning stoves enhance the 3 cottages (sleeping 2, 4 & 5) making them perfect for a romantic break for a couple or simply as a place to relax and unwind with family and friends. Tucked away in the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that has been practically untouched by time and discovered by very few. 5 minutes from the A303/A30 we are ideally placed to reach the Jurassic Coast, many NT properties,gardens, shops, pubs, restaurants and a huge choice of attractions not only in Devon but in nearby Dorset and Somerset.

We are open all year including Christmas, New Year, Easter, and half term.

Dogs (max 2) by arrangement only but please note that Garden Cottage is only suitable for one small dog. Wi Fi available in Weathervane Cottage, signal can be picked up on site but unfortunately not in the other cottages.

GARDEN COTTAGE (one bedroom) a warm and cosy cottage with it's own secluded patio tucked away from the others. The perfect romantic retreat for 2 people but also very comfortable for a family with a young child as a suitable bed can be added

MEADOW COTTAGE (two bedrooms, sleeps 4) has the benefit of an ensuite shower, basin and toilet off the double bedroom, as well as a family bathroom so ideal for 2 couples or a family.

WEATHERVANE COTTAGE (three bedrooms, sleeps 5) is particularly popular with visitors with young children or for people who find stairs difficult, as it is on the ground floor and has the bonus of an ensuite toilet and basin off the twin bedded room. Wi-Fi signal available.

Honiton

The market town of Honiton is approximately 7 miles west of Upottery. It is dominated by a long straight road built by the Romans and has a history that goes back to medieval times with the Hot Pennies ceremony and Charter Day still being celebrated every July. The town is famous for its lace and pottery and good examples can be found at Allhallows Museum. There are many independently owned shops,restaurants and cafes and the town is noted for its antique shops. The former house of the late painter, Thelma Hulbert, is now a public art gallery with exhibitions of contemporary art and craft on show.
