Sunnybank is a 4 bedroomed holiday cottage sleeping up to 8 situated in the Blackdown Hills, a stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  This property is set in a quiet, sheltered position with panoramic views of the Culm Valley.  Just outside of the village of Hemyock, Sunnybank is located near enough for convenient access to its shops, pubs and amenities but far enough away to make this a secluded rural retreat ideal for a peaceful holiday.

There is a large open plan living/dining/kitchen area which opens out to a patio area.   The two Master Bedrooms have en suite shower rooms and the other two share a large, stylish family bathroom.  This self-catering villa offers light and airy accommodation all on one level (apart from one step into dining area) and would make an ideal venue for a family get-together or celebration.  There is full central heating backed-up by a woodburner in the sitting room and a Rayburn in the kitchen.  Hot water is provided on demand.  The property offers a high standard of quality accommodation with modern furnishings throughout.

Sunnybank is just 45 minutes drive from Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks and is well placed for exploring the Quantock Hills as well as the beaches on Devon’s north and south coasts so it is great if you want a central base for visiting the South West.  It is equally good for those wanting just a relaxing rural retreat. For your entertainment during your stay there is a games room in the garage with pool table, dartboard and table football.  There is also a boule pitch in the garden. Sunnvbank welcomes well-behaved pets at the discretion of the owners (please contact us to discuss your furry friend's requirements.)

In response to demand from guests, unlike most holiday cottages, we at Sunnybank are happy to offer Short Break holidays throughout the year; they can be tailor-made to suit any requirement. Please contact us to discuss your plans.

We are also happy to offer 'Low Occupancy' discounts in the Low Season and late availability throughout the year.  Contact us for more information

Really enjoyed our stay here, from the lovely welcome to the peaceful relaxing stay.  Lovely and clean.  Plenty to see and do even in March!  Would love to come back again.   Pat and Steve - New Forest (March 2012)

We had a fantastic stay at Sunnybank over the Easter weekend.  The accommodation was spacious, well equipped and beautifully decorated.  The garden was lovely, our children enjoyed exploring it and we had a great time strolling down to the pond.  Everything about Sunnybank was over and above what we expected and we’d love to stay again.      Families W and B-N - Reading (April 2012).

Cath warmly welcomed us to a beautiful, well maintained cottage, aptly named ‘Sunnybank’.   It did not take us long to unwind in such a peaceful rural setting with wonderful views over the charming village of Hemyock and the Blackdown Hills, where we enjoyed many fine walks.  We also appreciated the modern, stylish accommodation, the individual décor in each bedroom, the luxurious furnishings.  Superb kitchen – wonderful equipment.  Sunnybank offers luxury self-catering accommodation of the highest standard.  Thank you for the privilege of staying here for the most enjoyable unforgettable week.  Mr Mrs B Scotland (April 2012)
