Culmbridge House - Cullompton,

In the small village of Hemyock, this spacious Victorian house is set within the grounds of Culmbridge Manor and offers excellent accommodation for upto 12 people

The detached property benefits from the use of a large heated indoor swimming-pool (exclusive use available), as well as a games room within the house itself.

Fully renovated and refurbished in 2007, it makes a relaxing home for two or three families wishing to holiday together or the ideal property for celebrations.

Hemyock - formerly known in the Doomesday Book as Hamock - is located near the Devon/Somerset border, just south of Wellington and on the Blackdown Hills - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Blackdowns have many delightful footpaths, bridleways, lanes and tracks, providing superb country walking, cycling and horse riding, quaint villages with local pubs for wining and dining and a variety of attractions to enjoy ranging from go-karting, ballooning and gliding to golf and fishing. Situated within easy driving distance of the M5, there is a diverse range of attractions to visit, such as Killerton House and Gardens, the cathedral city of Exeter, Diggerland, Crealey Adventure Park and Forde Abbey and Gardens. Alternatively a day out exploring the East Devon Heritage Coastal resorts from the picturesque Lyme Regis to Exmouth, is easily accessible. The famous lace and antique town of Honiton is also well worth a visit.

The accommodation itself is attractive, well-equipped and spacious. A lovely light airy hallway leads to a double bedroom with a 5ft bed and an en-suite shower-room/WC. There is also a separate WC on this floor. Opposite is the living room with oak flooring, an inglenook fireplace with a woodburning stove. Another bedroom can be found on this floor with a zip and link bed. There is a large utility/bootroom with washing machine. First floor: Two double bedrooms, each with 5ft bed and en-suite shower room/W.C. Two twin-bedded rooms, one with zip & link beds.
