Cosy & Rural 1 bed 17th Century stone built Cottage offering stunning coastal views and array of National trust walks and coastal trails.  A short 10 minute walk to the beach. Awarded a 4 Star Visit Britain award in June 08, property renovated by new owners in June 08.

Dating from the 17th Century Terry Holt Cottage is a lovely 1 bed stone cottage located in the coastal village of Branscombe East Devon. 4 Star Visit Britain Award. It is surrounded by beautiful National Trust Land offering outstanding views and is ideal for walking and only a ten minute stroll takes you down the coastal path to the beach. This cosy and newly refurbished cottage in June 2008 is ideally positioned in the centre of the village.

The Masons Arms is a 14th Century Hotel Inn in Branscombe and offers excellent 2 AA Rosette local food. Three National Trust Properties, The Old Bakery Tea House, The Manor Mill and the old forge. There is a village post office/convenience store. Many picturesque coastal villages such as Beer and Victorian Sidmouth are nearby.

17th Century mid terraced stone cottage, fully refurbished May 2008. All appliances/furniture are brand new. One Bedroom with a kingsize bed sleeps two.  

Ground Floor of the cottage

Enter through an original wooden front door into an open plan lounge which leads through to a fully equipped kitchen area which includes Electric Oven, fridge , washing/dryer machine and microwave. The Kitchen has a breakfast bar area with comfortable stalls and has ample storage space.

The lounge has an Egyptian rug laid over a newly laid Feb 2010 underheated floor tiles, and has a country cottage sofa to give a relax feel,  There is an electric authentic log burner, 32" TV/DVD combo with freesat offering 72 Channels. DVDs, books and Chess are available to use.

The First Floor

A landing leads you to a pleasant outlook with a distant view of tree topped hills surrounding the village. In the bedroom there is a King-size bed with built in wardrobe, matching bedside cabinets with side lamps, corner dressing table, mirror and stall.  3 drawer dresser.  All signature Cream Cottage design. Flat screen 22" digital TV/Combo offering freesat. The bedroom offers an excellent colour scheme with hand-made matching curtains and bed cover/headboard. The bathroom offers a new suite comprising of bath, shower, toilet and sink and has a tiled floor.

All bedding and towels for the cottage are included.

This is a perfect cottage for a romantic getaway to celebrate a special anniversary or just to have a quite relaxing stay enjoying the local natural beauty.
