It sits at the end of the Sterridge valley, a wooded vale that forms a wonderful walking path between Watermouth Cove and the inland countryside.

Walkers and nature lovers are spoilt for choice, with many paths and tracks winding their way through the scenery and the North Devon Coastal Path providing a well-established route beside the sea. A short drive away are the coastal towns and villages of Illfracombe, Combe Martin, Barnstaple and Woolacombe, each providing their own unique seaside experience.
