A collection of 7 charming country cottages near beaches in North Devon. The cottages share excellent facilities of indoor swimming pool, sauna, two games' rooms, extensive outdoor play and games areas for children, a pets' corner, cycle hire, picnic areas and barbecues. Everything you might need to keep the family entertained on holiday.

It is a short drive to the beaches of North Devon for days of sand and sea, or alternatively safe walks on the Tarka Trail, coastal walks and in the Devon countryside.

Muddlebridge Cottages are conveniently located near shops, pubs and restaurants so that you can stock up or eat out.

The cottages are all spacious and comfortably furnished. They have open-plan living, kitchen and dining areas. All cottages are equipped with the following:

  • all bed linen
  • colour TV and DVD player, radio/cassette/CD player
  • four ring electric cooker (gas in Saddlers Cottage) with oven and grill
  • microwave oven, refrigerator with freezer section, toaster, kettle, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board

There are variations in the cottages; one has a ground floor main bedroom, some have Queen size beds, one has a stairlift. It's best to call us to discuss your requirements so that you book the best cottage for your particular needs.

Peaceful rural setting near Barnstaple, a restful holiday but close to shops, entertainment and beaches when you need them. North Devon offers a variety of good sandy beaches, surfing and lots of tourist attractions. An access lane from just outside our drive entrance to Fremington Quay with its visitor centre, cafe/restaurant, local museum and nature exhibition. Access to the estuary-side beaches and woodland paths for gentle strolls and birdsong.

Travel: Barnstaple Railway Station (connections from Exeter)

Good places to visit: Woolacombe,Saunton, Croyde and Westward Ho! beaches; Hartland Quay; Clovelley; Lundy Island; Arlington Court; Rosemoor Gardens;Tintagel;The Eden Project; Exmoor National Park
