An interesting country cottage in rural Derbyshire. Located in the popular spa town of Matlock Bath, 3 Coach House Mews is a semi-detached mews property in a courtyard off the main street. The property sleeps up to 6 people and has a ground floor king-size double with an en-suite wet room, and a twin bedroom, a single room with additional pull out bed, and a family bathroom all on the second floor. The first floor consists of an open-plan living area, including a fitted kitchen, a dining area, a sitting area, and glass-fronted access to a decked area outside. The deck is supplied with outdoor furniture. There is designated off road parking for one car, and additional roadside parking is often available. 3 Coach House Mews makes a lovely Peak District base, being just on the edge of the National Park with its great walking, cycling and nature watching. Those interested in history are spoilt for choice and will want to visit the world heritage site of Arkwright Mills, the Peak District Mining Museum, the stately homes at Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall or Crich Tramway museum. There’s plenty to do no matter what takes your fancy.

The spa town of Matlock Bath sits in the gorge above the River Derwent, surrounded by woodland and rocky cliffs. Matlock Bath was popular as a spa town in the 1800s, and was also 'the cradle of the industrial revolution'. Amenities include shops and pubs. Close by are Matlock, Carsington Water, Chatsworth and the Derwent Valley.
