Located 12 miles west of Sheffield in the delightful Derbyshire village of Hope, The Green is large detached self-catering house, ideal for groups looking for the ultimate weekend retreat - or party palace. This is no cottage - the house is as huge as it is luxurious. Your first impression is one of grandeur as you drive through the wrought-iron gates up the wide sweeping drive and park beside the splendid 3-metre high ornamental fountain. Step from the car and enjoy the view - you'll look out over trees across the beautiful Hope Valley, with the distinctive church spire in the distance. Although there is not a neighbour in sight, you're just a 2-minute walk from village shops, restaurants and pubs. Sleeping 14 - 18 guests in 7 twin/double/quad bedrooms, with 4 bathrooms, The Green offers superb quality self-catering accommodation where everyone can eat around the same large table which seats 18. Featuring an indoor swimming pool, The Green is an ideal base for reunions, birthday celebrations and hen party weekends. We can even arrange a celebratory evening meal with Angela & Linda's Dinner Party Service. Additionally, we offer Massage, Spa and Beauty therapies through our associates who can visit the house at your request. We specialise in LARGE GROUP weekends (3 nights, arriving Friday - although you can start on a Thursday.
