Sleeping up to 4 in 2 bedrooms, this stone-built barn conversion dates back to the 16th century and with charming features such as exposed beams and a wood-burner, is an inviting and homely place to stay. Add to this a central location in the pretty village of Brassington just outside of the Peak District National Park and it’s clear to see that this holiday cottage is a great place to stay.Within this property there is an open plan living area with comfy sofas by a warming wood-burner and TV, dining area and kitchen, downstairs loo, one bedroom with king-size bed and TV, one twin bedroom with TV and a family shower room with WC.
Outdoors is a secluded patio area where guests can enjoy sitting out and getting a taste of al-fresco living. There is also a BBQ for those summer evenings along with space for storing bikes.
Enjoy spending your holiday discovering some of the best of the Peak District National Park on days out. Matlock and the Heights of Abraham are also within easy reach for day trips. For those who enjoy a sociable tipple, the local pub is just a couple of minutes’ walk away.
