A wonderful Peak District country cottage that’s great for families or a groups of friends. Situated in the village of Ashford in the Water, Cornbrook House is a delightful stone built end-terraced cottage, just two miles from the market town of Bakewell.
This self catering property accommodates up to 6 people in comfort and has three bedrooms consisting of: one king-size double, one double and one adult bunks, as well as a family bathroom. The cottage also includes a fitted kitchen incorporating a dining area and a cosy sitting room with a wood burning stove. An enclosed lawned garden supplied with outdoor furniture provides outside space. There is off road parking for two cars.
The local village has as a range of traditional village pubs, restaurants and shops. The amazing scenery of the Peak District National Park is all around you offering fantastic walking opportunities, while a short drive will take you on to Chatsworth House and Matlock.

In the kitchen there is a gas oven and hob, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. TV with basic Sky, DVD, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Cot and highchair. Stairgate available on request. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Enclosed lawned garden with furniture.

Set on the banks of the River Wye is Ashford in the Water. The village offers stone cottages, two pubs, a restaurant and a shop.
