(1 welcome) Kentmere is a wooden self catering chalet set within the Lake District National Park in the naturally beautiful Longsleddale valley in the small Lake District village of Garnett Bridge near Kendal. The chalet sleeps 6 and the accommodation is arranged over one floor. There is a living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom. Outside the chalet there is a large garden with garden furniture, bbq and private parking for three cars. The chalet enjoys a riverside setting, excellent news for those who love to fish, as it is possible to fish for trout or salmon on the river in season. Keen hillwalkers will enjoy walking in the valley, particularly around Potter Fell and Banninsdale.

The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, tumble dryer and payphone in shared utility. TV with Freeview. Electricity charged by £1 coin meter. Bed linen is included in the rent. There is private parking space for 1 car. Large garden area with furniture and barbecue. Two well behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 3.5 miles. Please Note: There are three external steps to the front door of this property. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.
