A country cottage in a superb Lake District setting. Located on the edge of the village of Gosforth, near to Esdale, Bleng Barn Cottage is the welcoming wing of an 18th Century farmhouse on a working farm. The property is suitable for up to 7 people and has 3 super king-size double bedrooms as well as two family bathrooms. The open-plan living room includes a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a sofa bed and an electric fire. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. The cottage has an outside patio area and a paddock, which may be used by prior arrangement with the owner. There is off road parking for up to 4 cars.
Great walking opportunities begin at the doorstep, and there are also brilliant bike trails. Landscape lovers will also appreciate the nearby valleys of Eskdale, Wasdale and Dunnerdale. Bleng Barn Cottage is a wonderful cottage, which is perfect for friends and family groups throughout the year.

The cottage has efficient gas central heating, additional heating from gas fire in sitting area.
The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher. TV with Sky, DVD, video, radio/CD, library of books, videos, CDs and games.
Fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen is included in the rent. There is private parking space for 4 cars. Large patio area. Use of paddock by prior arrangement with the owner.
Two well behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 10 minutes' walk.

The small village of Gosforth offers a scattering of traditional cottages, farm dwellings, a post office, pubs serving good food, a church and the oldest Viking cross in England. Close by are the towering peaks of Scafell - England's highest peak, as well as Great Gable, Hard Knott, Harter Fell and Muncaster Fell, whilst the nearby valleys of Eskdale, Wasdale and Dunnerdale provide breathtaking scenery and there are many local attractions in the area including Muncaster Castle, the World Owl Centre and the Ravenglass to Eskdale miniature railway.
