TV with Freesat, DVD, CD, radio, selection of books, games and DVDs. All fuel, power and wood for woodburner included in the rent. Bed linen is included in the rent. Travel cot and high chair available. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Storage for bikes. Enclosed front garden with furniture and barbecue. Two well behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 4 miles, pub 2.5 miles. Please Note: This cottage is situated half a mile up a single track drive. Please Note: Low ceilings and doorways. Coniston is a lovely village set at the tip of Lake Coniston, in the midst of spectacular mountain scenery, in the Lake District National Park. Coniston has a number of amenities, and is the ideal base for a variety of outdoor pursuits. There is superb walking and climbing on Coniston Old Man, and watersports enthusiasts will enjoy dinghy sailing, canoeing or simply sitting back and relaxing on the steam gondola which crosses the lake. The attractions of the lakes are on the doorstep, including Hawkshead, the Beatrix Potter Gallery, Ambleside and Windermere.
