Storage for bikes. Front paved area with seating. Rear garden with furniture and barbecue. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 4 miles, pub 2.5 miles. Please Note: This cottage is situated half a mile up a single track drive. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. Coniston is a lovely village set at the tip of Lake Coniston, in the midst of spectacular mountain scenery, in the Lake District National Park. Coniston has a number of amenities, and is the ideal base for a variety of outdoor pursuits. There is superb walking and climbing on Coniston Old Man, and watersports enthusiasts will enjoy dinghy sailing, canoeing or simply sitting back and relaxing on the steam gondola which crosses the lake. The attractions of the lakes are on the doorstep, including Hawkshead, the Beatrix Potter Gallery, Ambleside and Windermere.
