Curlew Cottage is a wonderful end terraced cottage set in the village of Bardsea, two miles from the market town of Ulverston in the Lake District. The cottage is suitable for up to 5 people and has 3 bedrooms: one double with an en suite shower, another double room and one single room as well as a family bathroom. The open-plan living area includes a well-equipped fitted kitchen, a dining area, a sitting area and a small utility room. The front and rear gardens feature a small patio area and are provided with outdoor furniture. There is off road parking for 3 cars. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. The cottage is ideally located for enjoying excellent walking, cycling and other outdoor activities, with all the delights of the National Park on hand. Curlew Cottage is the perfect holiday home for exploring the e Lake District.

Full gas fired central heating with additional heating from electric stove in sitting area. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine. TV with Freeview, DVD/CD, radio, iPod dock, selection of books and games. Fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Cot and highchair. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Terrace gardens to front and rear with garden furniture and barbecue. Two well behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 2 minutes' walk. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

The small village of Bardsea offers two pubs serving ales and good food, plus the village is close to Furness Abbey. Just two miles away is the market town of Ulverston, which boasts a market and festivals, plus the stunning Lake District National Park and sandy beaches are close by.
