St Austell lies on Cornwall's southern and sheltered coast which is most suitable for family self-catering seaside breaks - the northern coast is windy and good for surfing. There are plenty of open gardens to visit, including the world famous Eden Project. St Austell is a large enough town to offer all manner of activities for all ages. There is an indoor soft-play centre for children which is useful on inclement days and a brewery to visit for dads.
