The Hayloft has a reverse living arrangement which closely follows the design of the original Hayloft Barn that once stood in its place. Guests will enter the property using the outside staircase where they will enter the open plan living area with exposed beams and rafters. The living space incorporates a fully stocked kitchen, a dining table for 6 plus a generous lounging area. The kitchen has a fridge and separate freezer, there is a dishwasher and washing machine / drier. There is a gas hob with an electric oven as well as a microwave. Within the lounge area Guests will be able to use a gas flame fire whilst relaxing in the evenings. The Hayloft has freeview television and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs. There is also a well stocked bookshelf for guests, as well as a box of family board games. The Hayloft has Gas central heating throughout and the hot water for the Showers and Bath is instant. The Hayloft has oak laminated floors. Guests can access the ground floor either via a central internal staircase or via an external downstairs door.

Probus is located at the heart of Cornwall. The Hayloft offers you country living in a very accessible spot. both Truro and the A 30 are only 10 mins away. So a visit to the city or further North or South in the County is very easy to navigate.

Recommended Places to Visit: From The Hayloft, Cornwall really is your oyster. Probus is on the doorstep of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula, with its picturesque beaches and villages. Yet the majestic, rugged coastline of the north coast is only 20 mins away. The dramatic coasline between Newquay and Padstow is a very comfortable daytrip.

Recommended Places to Eat Out: Probus boasts several opportunities for eating out. The village has two excellent restaurants. The Lamplighter celebrates local seasonal produce, and offers a modern and tempting menu. The Gulshan is a family run Indian restaurant that allows cutomers the choice to eat in or have take-away. The Hawkins Arms, offers good 'pub grub' at reasonable prices. There is also a very busy fish and chip shop a short walk away. If you are prepared to eat at home, you have plenty of choice from the village Butchers and farm shop, as well as two grocery stores.
