Full oil central heating. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher. TV with Freesat, DVD, WiFi Internet, selection of books and DVDs. Fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Private garden with south-facing sun deck, furniture and barbecue. One well behaved dog is most welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops, pubs and restaurants 5 minutes' walk downhill, longer back up.

A cottage holiday in Mevagissey is highly recommended for anyone who likes the character of old fishing villages with their stone harbours and that feeling of stepping back in time. Near Mevagissey are the famous 'Lost gardens of Heligan', rated by some to be more worth visiting than the 'Eden Project'. There are plenty of beaches in and a short drive from the village.

Mevagissey is a Cornish fishing village with winding cobbled streets and a harbour full of boats. Stunning walks lead along the coast in both directions, with sandy beaches, high cliffs and hidden coves to explore. The village has a selection of pubs and restaurants, while just up the road are the Lost Gardens of Heligan. A ferry from Mevagissey to Fowey also runs daily between Easter and September. The stunning coastline, fabulous beaches and renowned gardens of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula are a short drive down the coast while Truro, with its shops, restaurants, theatre and cathedral can be reached by car in half an hour.
