Range cooker with double electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. TV with Freesat, video, DVD, CD, radio, selection of DVDs and books. Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Child friendly cottage, travel cot and highchair provided. There is private parking space for 2 cars, including garage with lock. Bike store with lock. Private enclosed garden at rear. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 minutes' walk. Launceston is a good places to stay for exploring East Cornwall and west Devon The road network provides good access to beaches and tourist attractions. Lots of interesting locations are within 35 miles or so. The coastal town of Padstow and St Austell and the Eden Project are 35 miles distant, Tintagel of Arthurian fame is just 20 miles away.

Launceston is situated on the Devon and Cornwall border and is dominated by the ruins of a Norman castle which sits high above the town. Launceston also offers wonderful architecture including exquisite Georgian buildings. Just three miles away is the Tamar Otter Park and taking a trip on the steam train from Launceston through the beautiful Kensey Valley on a 5 mile round trip is essential. Other places to visit are the stunning Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor and with delightful seaside towns nearby, Launceston is a perfect base all year round.
