A delightful country cottage on the Devon and Cornwall border that’s great for families looking to discover either county. Located in Launceston, 2 Tamar View is a Victorian terraced house set over 4 floors. The property is suitable for up to 7 people and has three bedrooms: a double and a twin on the first floor, and a family room with a double and a single bed and an en-suite shower room on the second floor, as well as a first floor bathroom. This is a great cottage for families, with everyone getting personal space. The cottage is further comprised of a lower ground floor kitchen and utility room leading on to the conservatory, a ground floor dining room and a ground floor sitting room with open fire. There is a private enclosed garden, off road parking for up to 2 cars including a lockable garage and secure bicycle storage.
The Tamar Valley provides great walking and nearby there are the seaside resorts of Bude and Padstow to the north, the city of Plymouth and the amazing landscapes of Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor. With so much to discover in this area, 2 Tamar View is a great cottage for a family holiday.

The cottage has efficient gas central heating, additional heating from an open fire in the sitting room and gas fire in dining room. Range cooker with double electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. TV with Freesat, video, DVD, CD, radio, selection of DVDs and books. Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Child friendly cottage, travel cot and highchair provided. There is private parking space for 2 cars, including garage with lock. Bike store with lock. Private enclosed garden at rear. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 minutes' walk. Please Note: Max. 6 adults.
Launceston is a good places to stay for exploring East Cornwall and west Devon The road network provides good access to beaches and tourist attractions. Lots of interesting locations are within 35 miles or so. The coastal town of Padstow and St Austell and the Eden Project are 35 miles distant, Tintagel of Arthurian fame is just 20 miles away.

Launceston is situated on the Devon and Cornwall border and is dominated by the ruins of a Norman castle which sits high above the town. Launceston also offers wonderful architecture including exquisite Georgian buildings. Just three miles away is the Tamar Otter Park and taking a trip on the steam train from Launceston through the beautiful Kensey Valley on a 5 mile round trip is essential. Other places to visit are the stunning Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor and with delightful seaside towns nearby, Launceston is a perfect base all year round.
