Located in the rural village of Gunnislake on the banks of the River Tamar, Mouse Cottage is a lovely spacious single storey holiday home attached to the owner’s farmhouse. The property can sleep up to 4 people comfortably and has 2 bedrooms: a double and a twin, as well as a shower room with double shower. The cottage also includes a kitchen incorporating a dining area and a cosy sitting room. A quiet lawned garden to the rear of the property is furnished with outdoor seating. There is designated off road parking for 1 car. Mouse Cottage is an ideal place for a romantic escape or a family holiday. Walkers, nature lovers and those just looking to unwind are sure to adore the Tamar Valley Discovery Trail, which follows the course of the river through an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are local opportunities to engage in horse riding, fishing and golf. Dartmoor National Park is ripe for discovery and the sandy beaches of Cornwall are within easy reach.

The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, colour TV, DVD player, selection of DVDs, books and board games. All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for one car. Lawned garden to rear with garden furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 2 miles.
Gunnislake is a small village in Cornwall with a river running through it - a stone built bridge straddles the water. The scenery srrounding Gunnislake is of peaceful wooded hillsides and meadows leading down to the river. Rent a country cottage in Gunnislake to enjoy the peace and quiet, the slower pace of life, walks and cycling in country lanes. The Devon border with Dartmoor is a short drive away for walking on a grander scale. Plymouth and the coast is about 19 miles away. There are opportunities for boating on the various rivers and streams around Saltash.

The small village of Gunnislake lies on the steeply wooded banks of the River Tamar. It has village pubs and a small selection of shops. The area is perfect for exploring Dartmoor, the south and north coast beaches and the attractions of Cornwall's far west. Close to hand, the Dartmoor town of Tavistock with its market, pubs and restaurants is a must, while the Donkey Sanctuary and Cotehele house and gardens are just 15 mins away. Enjoy a round of golf at St Mellion, explore the restored Victorian mining village at Morwhellam Quay, search for otters and deer along the Tamar Valley footpath or take a trip to the beach and picturesque harbour at Looe - there's something for everyone.
