Granary Cottage is a ground floor barn conversion set in an attractive courtyard by a pretty and tranquil village green. This very well presented holiday property has two bedrooms (sleeping 4 guests + cot).

There is doorstep walking and many beautiful beaches nearby Granary Cottage - ideal for surfing ,bodyboarding, swimming and exploring.

The cottage is situated in the quiet hamlet of Rosecare. Crackington Haven Beach is just a short drive (or a longer walk) from Granary Cottage and is a beautiful cove, flanked by impressive cliffs. Lifeguards patrol the beach during the summer months. The large stretch of sand and pebble is bordered by low reefs with lots of rock pools to explore. (Dogs are not allowed on this beach between Easter and end of September.)

The seaside town of Bude, with 2 large sandy beaches, patrolled by life guards in the summer, and a sea filled swimming pool is a short drive away . Summerleaze beach at Bude is dog friendly all year. Bude has cycle hire, a surf school, ten pin bowling and a Tourist Information Office, plus a comprehensive range of shops and restaurants. A short drive will take you to the shops and attractions of Launceston, Camelford and the pretty coastal villages of Tintagel, Boscastle and Port Isaac . The Eden Project is just over one hour's drive away. Horseriding and many children's and family activities are available locally. Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor are close by. St Gennys is a picturesque little village set 400 feet up on the cliffside just above Crackington Haven. It clings to the hillside & looks out to the impressive headland which drops sheer to the sea. Visit the 15th century Church in St Gennys & enjoy one of the finest views in North Cornwall to Bude Bay & Bristol Channel to where Lundy Island can be seen on a clear day.

The property sleeps 4 guests and is situated in a courtyard with its own patio furniture for dining alfresco. Parking for 1 car is available in a carport at the rear of the courtyard. The property benefits out of season from night storage heaters.

The surrounding area offers a wealth of beautiful countryside and coastal walks, stunning scenery and lovely beaches.

Well behaved Pets are welcomed by arrangement. Surcharge of £10 per pet per break. 

Granary Cottage is let from Saturday to Saturday,

• Rosecare lies one mile from the A39 and Wainhouse Corner, where there is a well stocked Post Office and general store which supplies local produce, fresh bread, milk, eggs, papers and most groceries. There is a garage and petrol station at Wainhouse Corner.

• There are two excellent pubs nearby that offer good food and a varied menu , one at Wainhouse Corner ( aprox 20 minutes walk) and one at Crackington Haven on the beach. The last time we were there - both welcomed children and dogs.  Golf courses and fishing opportunities nearby.      

The open plan lounge area has a beamed ceiling, cottage style settee and two armchairs, a coffee table, feature living-flame coal effect electric fire, dresser with drawers, colour TV, DVD & video recorder. It has a micro hi-fi system with CD player and AM/FM radio. The stable door leads out to the sunny courtyard with patio furniture. The open plan kitchen has a range of country-cottage style fitted units, an electric cooker, fridge/ice box, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, filter coffee machine and an ample supply of cutlery, crockery and pots & pans. The master bedroom has a double bed with bedside tables, touch lamps with dimmer & fitted wardrobe. The second bedroom has a 3ft bunk bed, fitted wardrobe, corner shelves, lamps & bedroom chair. The bathroom has a matching suite with bath, electric power shower over bath, shower screen, basin, mirror, shelve, heater & WC. There are ironing facilities and a clothes airer. A hair dryer is provided. A cot & high chair are available upon request. Electricity, bed linen and towels are all included in the rental tariff and beds are made up for your arrival There is a strict no smoking policy in the property, however smoking is permitted in the courtyard patio area.
