Higher Scarsick Cottage - Bude & Launceston, Cornwall, England

The cottage has been renovated over recent years and has retained many original features, including oak beams, stone inglenooks and a bread oven. It is well furnished and most windows double glazed making it very cosy and warm.  All heating is inculuded in the tarriff. Step outside to a large garden where you can hear the birds singing and enjoy the stunning views, and if you care to take a short walk down the lane there is a small stream which is particularly beautiful in the spring and autumn. The accommodation is for up to 6 people (plus a cot if required) comprising 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 with twin beds), bathroom with bath and separate electric shower cubicle, lounge and kitchen/diner.

The Spring of the year is my favourite trees are bursting to life again and the roads and lanes surrounding the farm are pickled with wild flowers and the fields a beautiful colour green many with small lambs frolicing around. 1 only have 1 week left available for you to enjoy this the 14th May.

 Moving into June Honeysuckle and Foxgloves adorn the hedgerows and the Swallows have returned.  The days are much longer and evenings still usually very warm making it ideal to relax after a day exploring with a barbecue in the garden.

Enjoy bird watching and wildlife spotting, Our farm adjoins a forestry a disused railway line and stream which gives plenty of opportunities for both activities. One guest described us as a countrylovers paradise.

If you love the Countryside Higher Scarsick is the place for you many of my guests return year after year to a very warm welcome.  We are on hand to sort out any problems that may arise (which thankfully is hardly ever) and to give directions and suggestions for days out. Or if you just want to relax and chill out we will not bother you.
