Great for families with an eye on history, looking for leisure facilities on site. The cottage is situated on a six acre site near to Grafham Waters, near to the Cambridgeshire market town of Huntingdon. The property is 350 years old cottage in part of a building that was once owned by the family of Oliver Cromwell. It can sleep six people, with three bedrooms (one double, one twin and one with bunk beds) and a family bathroom. The accommodation also consists of an open-plan living area with a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting room. There is a garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, and off road parking for two cars. Guests have access to a children's play area and an open air heated swimming pool which is available on site through the summer months. The fabulous Cambridgeshire countryside is all around to discover, with a welcoming home away from home waiting for you - ensuring a wonderful family holiday cottage all year round.

This holiday cottage has efficient gas central heating. In the kitchen there is an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer in utility, colour TV with Freeview, DVD. Books/DVD/games. Fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Child friendly cottage, travel cot and highchair provided. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Shared use of open air heated swimming pool, 8x22m, open when lifeguard on duty, from May to Mid September. Enclosed garden with furniture and barbecue. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Small onsite shop. Supermarket 8 miles, pub 10 minutes' walk. Please Note: Max 6 including infants. Cambridgeshire in East Anglia is known for its rural qualities and for the historical city of Cambridge with its university and charming old streets. Also in Cambridgeshire is the smaller city of Ely with its charming cathedral.

The Cambridgeshire village of Grafham is best known for its Grafham Waters, a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest which cover 1500 acres. The site is also a haven for wild life, with insects, birds, mammals and amphibians. And for those who enjoy fishing, Grafham Waters is the king of the trout reservoirs. The site also offers picnic areas, restaurants, café, and specialist sports hire and sales shops. Within easy travelling distance you will find Huntingdon, St Neots, and Cambridge, all offering many attractions to visit.
