Sailing is a big feature of this area and the rivers Avon and along the Kingsbridge estuary are lined with boats and yachts. The Colmer Brook flows into the lake at Colmer. Walk along it or around the lake with your dogs in the mornings or evenings. There are lots of birds to spot and the occasional fallow deer.
