Come for a self catering cottage holiday to Bude, the most northern of Cornwall's towns and one of the most popular. Roads and paths from the town lead down to the beaches. A sea water swimming pool offers gentle protected bathing if you fancy a change, or try surfing among the Atlantic rollers. The two Bude beaches of Summerleaze and Crooklets offer cafes, toilets and amenities - perfect for families with children. If you have a car, there are several other beaches on the north Cornish coast to visit, such as Sandymouth beach which offers rock pools for children to explore at low tide.
