| Self-catering
country cottages in the scenic country of Wales
What is Wales?
Is it just a mountainous country full of sheep and a people disliked
by Ann Robinson? Well yes and no. The former half is apparently
true but you just have to visit and get a true picture of this splendidly
scenic country.
Yes, there
are spectacular mountains - everyone has heard of Snowdonia
and Mount Snowdon. Did you know that you can take a train
that climbs steeply to the top of Snowdon and rewards you with the
most breathtaking views?
There is a
lengthy, picturesque coastline with cliffs and some of the cleanest
sandy beaches in Britain. Try
Pembrokeshire for a real beach holiday. Visit Skomer Island,
a bird and wildlife paradise, by boat, and say 'Bore da'
to the comical puffins.
Are Welsh dragons
the stuff of legends or do they still lurk in the hills waiting
for Ann Robinson to visit? It's still a country that many in the
UK haven't yet explored and yet it's almost on our doorstep.
Be brave; pack your Welsh dictionary, a camera, binoculars, and
become an intrepid traveller this year. Visit Wales.

Luxury
secluded cottages |
A
warm welcome awaits you at St. Nons Bay Cottages. The
three Lower Moor and St. Nons Bay Luxury Cottages are set
in a quiet location a short distance from the sea and the
Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Each cottage provides luxury quality
accommodation with cleanliness being a top priority and all
are well equipped. They all have enclosed sheltered gardens
with a patio and garden furniture and a games room with table
tennis or a pool table. A mere 5 minutes walk takes you to
the shops, restaurants, local beauty spots like Bryn y Garn
and the historic cathedral itself. Exciting pursuits can be
arranged at the local Outdoor Centre such as windsurfing,
sea canoeing, abseiling and climbing. Sea fishing is a popular
pastime and there is also a large boat park. A beautiful setting
for a perfect holiday. The cottages are all family friendly.
Cots, highchairs and stair gates are provided. There is also
a babysitting service to allow for evenings out.
Perhaps
the very magic of Pembrokeshire is its many varied walks –
some coastal and spectacular, particularly with the sunsets.
Other walks more serene and gentle, capturing the essence
of wild flowers and spotting birds such as the chough and
the peregrine and of course, viewing the sheep grazing contentedly.
Access is close to the magnificent Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
Also, Porthllisky Bay with its fascinating rock pools and
clear waters for bathing. The ideal place for tranquillity
and rejuvenating the tired mind.
