Rural setting in Herefordshire

Warren Cottage is a cosy and secluded  two-bedroom woodman’s cottage in the South Herefordshire countryside, adjacent to the ancient Aconbury Woods. It offers easy access to the Black Mountains, Hay-on-Wye, the river Wye, great country walks a range of pubs. There is a well-stocked shop in the neighbouring village. 

Warren Cottage has two bedrooms. The ground floor is predominantly open-plan with a low beamed ceiling. The recently installed kitchen is well equipped with a new cooker and fridge, a microwave and plenty of utensils. There is a dining area, a cosy corner with two comfy sofas and a Clearview wood-burner (the cottage’s main source of heat), a separate bathroom (with heated towel rail) and loo. 

Upstairs is one double bedroom and a single room both with duvets and linen. Both have small electric radiators. When the cottage was bought it was in a state of disrepair. It has now been lovingly renovated and is available to rent to those who wish to enjoy its peaceful rural setting.

 The cottage's owners live 100 yards away across the orchard in Warren Farmhouse and may provide fresh bantam eggs if they are available.

Upper Trereece is a superbly comfortable home for 8 people. It was fitted with all new appliances including a Rangemaster electric/gas cooker, and is ideal for people who want to have a 'get away from it all' holiday in the wonderful Herefordshire countryside.

The barn features exposed beams, a sitting room room with a welcoming log burning fire, a large galleried entrance hall with table tennis, a 27ft kitchen/dining room, a utility room and cloakroom.
