Welcome to The Barn, a stunning, modern dwelling perfectly situated in the heart of the beautiful Suffolk countryside. The Barn itself is a sumptuous open-plan conversion comprising of many unique features including a vast lounge with log fire, massive kitchen/diner with all modern conveniences, two enormous, separate double bedrooms and a smaller double with en suite shower. The unbelievable 1st floor is open to the rest of the barn with a sunken double bed area and balcony walkway overlooking the main living space. Outside there is a massive patio, a whole field to play in as well as a duck pond and gardens. All ten minutes walk from a fine country pub!

Further afield there is a wealth of walks, sites and interests to satisfy everybody�s whims. From the historical magnificence of Framlingham Castle, to the glorious, seaside traditions of Aldburgh, The Barn provides easy access to an abundance of superb local attractions. The Barn is a perfect venue for relaxing at any time of year. During the winter months no excuse is needed to light the huge log fire, draw the blinds and get cosy. Whilst summers at The Barn are bar-b-ques on the terrace, games in the field and drinks under the stars.

Detailed Description of this 5 bedroom self-catering barn in Cretingham.

Main living area: As soon as you enter The Barn you are greeted by the spectacular main space. On massive, under-heated flagstones sits a large circular seating area that focuses on the grand, working fireplace and chimney breast. Huge, original wooden beams lift your eyes to the 30 ft ceiling and the unique balcony walkway that forms part of the upper level. Kitchen: Coming off the living space is the vast kitchen and dining area. Equipped with everything you�ll need for serious entertaining including the ten seater table and an embarrassment of work surfaces.

Bedrooms: The Barn has two very large, main double bedrooms, both enjoy full length windows and doors that open on to the patio. There is also a cosier single room equipped with an en suite shower.

Upstairs: The Barn�s first floor is its most exciting feature and subsequently very difficult to describe. Once you�ve climbed the spiral staircase you discover that you are still part of the whole barn. To you�re left is the open walkway that lets you look down on either side to the main space below. This leads to a �dorm� area that the kids (big and small) will love. At the other end you go down some steps to a large, open bedroom with the biggest, comfiest bed in slumberland. This is the one that everyone fights for!

Bathrooms: The Barn has two bathrooms, both with toilets and power showers and one with a bath. Both (like the rest of the house) benefit from under-floor heating.

Outside: The grounds of The Barn are a playground for adults and kids alike. As well as the enormous patio area and beautifully kept gardens, there is a picturesque duck-pond, outbuildings and whole field to play in. Not only that but the clean air, lush countryside and big sky of rural Suffolk.
