Warren Lodges on the edge of Minsmere in Suffolk - secluded location
Would you like to get away the hustle and bustle of life? Warren Lodges on the edge of the Minsmere Marshes in Suffolk will be a novel experience and real treat for you. The track to the lodges takes you away from the tarmac roads into the countryside looking out over the woodlands of the RSPB Minsmere bird reserve. The lodges themselves are surrounded by grass so you step out onto grass and get away from all that concrete and cars which are kept 25-50 yards from the lodges. These timber lodges are well equipped to ensure a comfortable stay at any time of year.
Marsh harriers, barn owls kestrels and sparrow hawks hunt regularly over the surrounding land, skylarks and nightingales can be heard in the season, and many rare and interesting birds can be seen at the nearby RSPB Minsmere reserve. Rabbits share the hollow, and deer can sometimes be seen at dawn and dusk. Theberton village has a historic thatched church, with round tower, and two thatched cottages among its varied houses. Warren Cottage is a cosy and secluded two-bedroom woodman’s cottage in the South Herefordshire countryside, adjacent to the ancient Aconbury Woods. It offers easy access to the Black Mountains, Hay-on-Wye, the river Wye, great country walks a range of pubs. There is a well-stocked shop in the neighbouring village.

Warren Cottage has two bedrooms. The ground floor is predominantly open-plan with a low beamed ceiling. The recently installed kitchen is well equipped with a new cooker and fridge, a microwave and plenty of utensils. There is a dining area, a cosy corner with two comfy sofas and a Clearview wood-burner (the cottage’s main source of heat), a separate bathroom (with heated towel rail) and loo.
Upstairs is one double bedroom and a single room both with duvets and linen. Both have small electric radiators. When the cottage was bought it was in a state of disrepair. It has now been lovingly renovated and is available to rent to those who wish to enjoy its peaceful rural setting.
The cottage's owners live 100 yards away across the orchard in Warren Farmhouse and may provide fresh bantam eggs if they are available.

Stoodley Barn (sleeps 4) forms part of a homely and comfortable barn conversion which was converted about 15 years ago and offers characterful and charming accommodation. This property has magnificent views.
Within this barn there is a lounge with a beamed ceiling and a large fireplace, a WC, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, one of which features an en-suite bathroom. There are some wonderful panoramic views from some of the rooms. Outsider there is a south facing garden and ample parking is available.
