Visit Old Aberdeen in Scotland
Take time during your holiday in Aberdeenshire to visit the city of Aberdeen for a day out and to take a walk around Old Aberdeen, the site of Aberdeen University to view the splendid old buildings. The roads are cobbled and lined with 16th Century granite houses; most of which are still in use. There are several handsome buildings which are worth a look.

Kings College Chapel (left) is a beautiful building that can be viewed by prior appointment ( Tel: 01224 273 325).
An arch leads to an interior courtyard with heraldic crests. Benches are positioned at intervals around a central lawn.
