Visit Old Aberdeen in Scotland

Old Aberdeen is an area in and around Aberdeen University.  The roads are cobbled and lined with 16th Century granite houses; most of which are still in use.  There are several handsome buildings which are worth a look. 

Kings College Chapel (left)  is a beautiful building that can be viewed by prior appointment ( Tel: 01224 273 325).  

An arch leads to an interior courtyard with heraldic crests.  Benches are positioned at intervals around a central lawn.
