Nairnshire is a pleasant area on the north Scottish coast and includes the town of Nairn where Cawdor Castle of Shakespeare's Macbeth fame is open for tours. The north coast and Cromarty Firth are good areas for dolphin watching. Seals are also common on quiet secluded beaches. The beaches are fabulous in this part of Scotland, all that is required is good weather. Good reasons to visit are the natural unspoiled countryside, plentiful wildlife, golden eagles, charming fishing villages and fascinating people with a strong sense of humour.
