Gorse Lodge is a beautiful rural retreat near Newark in Nottinghamshire. It is a  renovated country house in a tranquil setting surrounded by one hundred acres of our privately owned lakes and woodlands. The lodge has five en-suite bedrooms, and large open fired sitting room opening out to the bar room, large main hall leading through to the farmhouse kitchen, landscaped gardens.  Additional accommodation for guests is available nearby.

Visitors staying at the lodge have the option of self-catering or full catering. Corporate events, weddings, Parties, or Stag and Hen events welcome.

Part palace peak districtGranary Court is a spacious barn conversion comprising of four roomy self-catering apartments. Larger families and groups of friends love this place for its comfort, space and flexibility. Each apartment is well-appointed and offers privacy, whilst the whole of the party can dine and relax together in a wonderful Garden Room (which can seat 45 people comfortably).

Outside, there is a double sized barbecue, large enough to cater for all the party, and sturdy picnic benches to enjoy the outdoor party. The sizeable garden is private and floodlit - just right for those family football challenges - or perhaps some of our Giant Garden Games, including Jenga, Connect 4, Snakes and Ladders.
