This

a large and attractive garden and exclusive use of an
indoor heated swimming pool, it is ideal for families
or large groups of up to 12 people. The Old Mill is
situated in the tiny hamlet of Wellisford, deep in the
Heart of Somerset Countryside.
If
it's a relaxing peaceful break you're after, the
immediate area is great for ambient walks and also
offers golf, fishing and horse riding. Surrounded by
rolling hills and lush meadows, this is also an
excellent base for exploring the wider area. The
Exmoor National Park with its beautifull and varied
scenery and the Magnificent Dunster Castle are only a
few miles away. The charming little towns of Porlock
and Lynton & Lynmouth along the west Somerset
coast are easily reached, as are the inland county
towns of Exeter and Taunton. The seaside resorts of
Woolacombe and Exmouth make for good days out. Whilst
Crealy Adventure Park, the West Somerset Railway and
Paignton or Bristol Zoo make for excellent family fun.
The Brendon, Blackdown and Quantock Hills are also
accessible, offering some diverse countryside and
pretty villages.

The
accommodation itself is attractive, well-equipped and
spacious. The farmhouse style kitchen/diner has
beautiful hand crafted furniture with a four oven Aga
and a Belfast sink, coupled with all modern appliances
such as a halogen hob, microwave oven and two
dishwashers. Next to the kitchen is a games room with
pool table, table football, TV and video. This leads
to a double bedroom with French doors, zip and link
beds and TV. There is also a shower room with utility
area housing a washing machine and tumble dryer. Also
on this floor is a further twin bedded room with TV
and en-suite shower room. A wide oak staircase leads
to the first floor which has a large living room with
beams and a wood burning stove. Off the living room is
a double bedroom with 5ft bed and TV, and a twin
bedded room. Both of these rooms share a large family
bathroom with shower. Accommodation on this floor also
includes a further double bedroom with TV and en-suite
shower room. All first floor bedrooms, like the living
room, have wooden floorboards.
Another
oak staircase leads to the second floor which has a
large double bedroom with wooden floorboards, a
vaulted beamed ceiling, 5ft bed and a TV as well as an
en-suite bathroom with shower. The large garden offers
a good degree of privacy and has a good sized patio
with furniture and a barbecue. There is also a
children's play area with a swing and a slide.
 Within
the grounds of, and exclusive to the Old Mill is the
indoor heated swimming pool which is housed in a
separate detached converted barn and measures 28ft x
15ft, with a depth of 4ft and constant temperature of
29 degrees.
