This delightful self-catering coastal cottage is set in an idyllic location at the foot of St Catherine's Down on the Isle of Wight.
Niton is a village along the A3055 that skirts the coast in the south west of the Isle of Wight. Nearby is St Catherine's Point with a lighthouse known as the Pepperpot.
A mile or so west is Balckgang Chine, a theme park for young children and adult. This park offers great value for money because each ticket last an entire week and has activities and themes that would suit children up to about the age of 8. Teeenagers might not be satisfied with one rollercoaster, a scary boat slide and spinning cups.
A series of bays extend along the coast eastwards from Niton, Reeth Bay, Binnel Bay, Woody Bay and then Ventnor Bay and the seaside town of Ventnor. On the west side of Ventnor is a botanic garden.
The southern side of the island is less busy than the north and most pleasant place to stay for a rural and seaside break. Find country cottages and self-catering apartments to rent for a week or two's holiday in Niton.
