This little cottage is comfortable and inviting. It has a host of period features, but all the modern amenities you would expect. It's light and spacious with good sized living and bed rooms, all south facing.
And outside there's a little garden for those hot evenings.
Positioned in the town centre, it's ideal for exploring this delightful old woollen town, or cycling or paddling along the picturesque Kennet and Avon Canal or the River Avon
Yet being only 100 metres from the station it's ideal for visiting Georgian Bath or Bristol, the ancient cathedral city of Salisbury, the south coast. For family outings Longleat and Stonehenge are near. And Stourhead and a host of National Trust properties are on your doorstep.
The country round about is arguably the most picturesque region of England, with a mild climate, lovely coutryside for walking, cycling or touring by car, only 60 miles from the south coast, yet close too to the Cotswolds, the Mendip Hills, the Quantocks & Exmoor. The region is full of ancient history, from stone age Stonehenge to Georgian Bath, and boasts a wealth of lovely houses and gardens to visit.
