Lyndale
is an 18th century stone cottage of considerable character
and charm situated in the pretty village of Roadwater
at the foot of the Brendon Hills in Exmoor National Park.
Features
of the cottage include exposed beams throughout, flagstone
and wood floors, an open fire and a wood-burner.
The
cottage sleeps four comfortably and is equipped and furnished
to a very high standard, including full heating for the
winter months. It has its own private parking area and
hill-side garden 50 yards from the door, and there is
an inn serving excellent food within easy walking distance.
The
property comprises two double bedrooms, a ground floor
shower-room and toilet, a kitchen, a living room and a
separate dining room. The two double bedrooms are furnished
for comfort as well as character, one with twin beds and
the other with a double. Duvets and bed linen are provided.

Everything
has been provided for that perfect short break or longer
stay. The comfortable living-room, with its cosy wood-burner
and open plan staircase, has two sofas, one of which converts
to a double bed, a television and a CD player. The kitchen
is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer,
washer-dryer and dishwasher, plus all cooking utensils,
cutlery, crockery and glassware. The dining room has a
farm-house style table, with seating for six, a welsh
dresser and an open fire and is an ideal setting for that
special evening. The garden has a barbeque area with a
table and plenty of chairs and is a lovely spot for a
picnic or just to relax in to the rippling sound of nearby
streams.

Quarme Valley Grange is a traditional Somerset Long House dating back to the early 18th Century and is situated in it’s own tranquil, undisturbed grounds within The Exmoor National Park.
The Grange has been refurbished over a period of ten years from being a derelict, rambling old farmhouse to a family sized Georgian-style country residence. In May 2007/8 The owners were awarded a 5 Star Silver Rating from the Quality in Tourism Board.
